Māori Rugby League NSW
Māori Rugby League NSW
At Māori Rugby League NSW, we are a whānau united by our aroha (love) for rugby league and a deep respect for our Māori whakapapa (genealogy). Our origins trace back to the prestigious Nga Hau e Whā tournament, and with our recent name change from NSW Māori Rugby League, our kaupapa remains steadfast. We proudly host the annual Māori Rugby League NSW Tournament, an interim event that continues the legacy of Nga Hau e Whā, celebrating our heritage and passion for the game. Join us as we embody the principles of whanaungatanga (community), manākitanga (hospitality) and kaitiakitanga (stewardship) both on and off the field.
We offer a wide range of programs catering to various age groups and skill levels, from juniors to seniors, including the U10-U12s & U12-U14s Development Programs and the well respected Heritage and Harmony squads. Our programs are designed to foster talent, promote inclusivity and celebrate growth, ensuring a vibrant future for Māori rugby league in NSW.
Whether you are a player, coach, volunteer or supporter, there are many ways to get involved with Māori Rugby League NSW. Join us in our journey to promote cultural pride, athletic excellence and community spirit. Stay updated with our latest news and events, and find out how you can contribute to our kaupapa.
